FUN FACT!
I am a REALTOR® at Southern Classic Realtors, but I have a diverse background in culinary arts and medicine. In fact, I used to work as a chef and a Culinary Medicine Consultant. With extensive medical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, fertility, pediatrics, preventive medicine, and various medical positions at university and private wellness centers, I strongly believe in the power of integrative nutrition as a form of preventative medicine. I have applied this philosophy to my work as a chef and in my personal life as well.
In the past, I worked as a Chef de Partie at high-volume restaurants in multiple cities, as a chef in private homes, and as a personal chef to numerous clients. Perhaps even to the rich and famous, but shhhhh, I'll never tell! Hahaha!
I have studied at several universities, including Le Cordon Bleu for Culinary Arts, Everglades University for Complementary & Alternative Medicine / Pre-Medical - Science Track, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition for Nutrition, Undergraduate Core / Pre-Medical at Georgia Southern University and Harvard Extension School, The University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth for Sustainability Studies, and New York Institute of Art & Design for Interior Design in addition to Staging. Additionally, I have completed 39 courses offered by the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences for a Science and Cooking Lecture Series and attended the Siting Julia: A Julia Child Centenary Symposium at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University. I have held ServSafe Food Handler, Food Manager, and Integrative Health Coach certifications. A regular ole Jill of all trades!
